What do I bring to my session?
Picture this: you didn’t pack your session bag the night before and now it’s 5am and you have to be at the studio with all of your gear in 30 minutes… YIKES. We want to help you avoid this stress at all costs, so here’s a list of what you need to bring on the day of your session.
Any and all clothing, shoes, and accessories for your session wardrobe: Remember, more is better. We would rather you have too many options rather than not enough. We will have some pieces on hand in our Senior Client Closet, but there’s no guarantee we will always have exactly what you need. While you’re in hair and makeup, your photographer will be sorting through alllll of your outfits to help you narrow down your wardrobe!
Nude undergarments for every outfit possible: The last thing we want is for your outfit to be uncomfortable or distracting by a bra strap or opaque garment shining through. Make sure to try on every outfit with the correct undergarments and be sure to check them in bright, natural light to ensure everything is ready to go!
SNACKS: A hungry model is usually not a happy one. Your session will likely start very early in the morning and will end around 12pm, so make sure you have the energy to get through the day!
A parent: Yes, at least one parent is required during your session. You can usually find them on the couch with their glasses on, holding their phone 2 feet from their face 😉
Props: Make sure you bring a bag for these, we would hate to have you losing any valuables.
That’s really it! Make sure all of these items are packed away and by the front door the night before your session and you’ll be ready to go!
