Meet Lauren. Lauren is basically the definition of a blonde bombshell. I mean, look at that voluminous hair and gorgeous smile! Lauren joined us in the studio for her latest boudoir session experience with us earlier this month. Although, this session felt a little deeper than ever before.

Lauren joined us as a part of our Body Love Project. A campaign with the mission to empower and encourage women of all ages, sizes, shades, and shapes. We hoped this boudoir project would allow us to not only treat women like Lauren that are ready to take the leap to the boudoir experience of their dreams. We also wanted to document their story + experience in our studio, in hopes to share their words of encouragement and empowerment to women that aren’t quite ready to make the jump.

Lauren came to the studio having just gone through a lot of major life events, feeling disconnected from herself. This is a super common reason that clients come to us for their boudoir sessions. When life gets crazy, and big changes force you to live your life in an entirely different light, it is so easy to come out of those tough times and not feel like yourself.

Getting in to show off your fun + flirty side after having to deal with all of the messes of adulting can be the perfect way to get back in touch with your body and mind. I mean, what could make you feel like more a of bad b*tch then getting all dolled up, taking some beautiful photos, and having them to treasure forever?? That’s why Lauren’s session was all about bringing the bright and fun!

Bring on the Boudie

We start the day as usual, with Lauren relaxing in the hair + makeup seat with Bre. You may realize during your session, how calming this first hour of your shoot day can be. Most of our clients come in feeling super nervous, knowing they’re about to strip down with some strangers. After chatting with your makeup artist while she gets you all done up, you’ll feel a whole new sense of comfort and excitement! Especially after you see what a bomb job she did on your hair + makeup.

From there, we took it upstairs to our private Boudoir Loft! Tamika had all of Lauren’s outfit options out and ready for her to try on. As you can see from the gallery below, Lauren looked good in LITERALLY everything! She also brought some super fun options from her own closet to spice up the session (hello cute printed pants 😍).

Throughout your entire boudoir session, your shooting team will be hyping you up from head to toe. You’ll understand why once you see your gorgeous photos!

Why Boudoir?

As you can see from Lauren’s boudoir gallery below, she absolutely SLAYED this session! That smile on her face brings us all the joy and reward we could ever need. Giving “every day” women the opportunity and space to fully feel comfortable with themselves + their bodies has always been our goal.

While most of our clients have never shot professional photos before, let alone a boudoir session, you would probably never be able to tell based on their photos! While Lauren has shot with us a time or two, each session has brought her a new chance to document herself and her body at a new stage of life. A new opportunity to feel empowered and encouraged for the woman she is becoming.

We will always be so grateful to the women that entrust us to guide them through this experience. We know it’s an intimate and unfamiliar feeling for most, but we take our jobs very seriously in making all feel welcomed and 100% comfortable.
