We use Photoshop to retouch 100% of our boudoir images. Although, how much editing your images gets can be up to you! Some clients want a little editing, and some want a lot.

What does that mean, exactly?

Our approach to photoshop is simple – keep your images clean and true-to-you.

We won’t ever alter your images in a way that no longer represent YOU and your natural beauty.

What exactly do we retouch?

Small tattoos can be edited out in most images, however if it covers your whole arm, probably not. We always edit out non-permanent blemishes like pimples, bruises, scratches and under eye circles. We give all of our clients the option to remove things such as cellulite, stretch marks, scars, etc. Sometimes wardrobe and posing can cause lumps and bumps, so we will fix those things. We are able to do subtle body contouring for clients who request it, but it’s not something we do unless you ask!

We are always willing to work with you on making sure you have the best boudoir experience, and that does include the editing of your final images. Some of our clients prefer a more natural look, and others want to go full glam with their retouching. We are happy to accommodate either way!

When you view your images on your session day, your photos will only have been treated to a color edit – no Photoshop yet. So if there is anything in specific you’d like removed or adjusted, you’ll be able to note those changes with your photographer. Otherwise, we’ll just give you the Pink Door standard edit!

Important Reminder!

As mentioned, we retouch all of our client photos. Therefore, the images you see on our website and Instagram are edited! We know that social media especially can make women feel down about their own features or appearance. But ALL of the beautiful ladies you see on our feed are everyday women with so much diversity in their look and styles.

At some point, they probably didn’t even believe that they would look as good as they do in their photos. But one of our (many) talents, is to help you see the bombshell in yourself that we see! No one’s skin is as smooth or flawless as the internet makes you think, but as you can see, that doesn’t take away from natural radiance and beauty.
